Katy and David's wedding at the beginning of March was a completely different experience for us. First of all, it was the smallest wedding we have ever photographed - apart from Katy and David, there was just the two of us there. Normally, when we are there to photograph a wedding we always feel a  close and involved part of the day - we live through a rainbow of emotions along with our couples and their guests -  anticipation beforehand, contemplation and happiness at the ceremony, elation afterwards, often mopping tears of laughter or emotion from our eyes during the speeches while we try to focus our cameras - this time we were so closely involved that we were the witnesses at the ceremony! This was such an honour for us, to be alone with Katy and David on such an important moment in their lives. After the ceremony, the four of us went for a stroll through the city, it was a lovely happy relaxed time, popping into interesting places and having fun snapping some creative pictures - doing what we enjoy doing. And amongst it all we went into a pub on the Royal Mile for a drink. Incredibly, amidst all the freezing weather in March, Katy and David cleverly managed to choose the one day that was glorious sunshine and warm!:-
