Last summer we photographed the amazing wedding day of Annie and David which took place in a unique location in Scotland, a private venue viewing over Tantallon Castle and the famous Bass Rock. With ponies roaming in the fields and a medieval ruin providing an unforgettable backdrop, there is a secluded cove which we used as a location for a portrait shoot. On a sunny, warm day (and there aren’t many of these in Scotland!) it looks like the Caribbean. But the North Sea is unpredictable, and the night before the wedding the whole marquee was blown away! By the time the wedding reception reached the parquee not many hours later, the marquee and all the gorgeous details had been reinstated through an incredible communal effort, and you would never guess at the events of the night before:
